William Mack CFP®, CFS®

President

As Founder and President of William Mack & Assoc., Inc. (WMA) Bill has made a career out of helping others. A thoughtful listener, Bill helps clients look beyond the numbers and focus on improving the quality of life. Bill was a pioneer in his field over 30 years ago when he created what is now referred to as a “Retainer Service.” As part of this service—in addition to managing investment portfolios—WMA also provides financial planning advice at no additional cost to its Retainer clients.

Bill was also one of the first advisors in Michigan to implement no-load mutual fund portfolio strategies for clients through discount brokerage firms such as Charles Schwab & Co., Fidelity, and TD Ameritrade. He earned his designation as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner through the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. Bill is also a Certified Fund Specialist.

As a commitment to the profession, Bill served over 10 years on the Board of Directors for what is currently known as the Financial Planning Association of Michigan, having served terms as both President as well as Chairman of the Board.

Originally born in Cleveland, Ohio, Bill and his wife graduated from The Ohio State University and relocated to Michigan, where their three children were born and raised.
