Kenneth Klegon CFP®

Kenneth Klegon, CFP® has been providing independent, objective financial planning services to individuals, businesses and organizations since founding his own financial advisory firm in Lansing in 1983. Ken joined WMA in 2018, and will serve on the firm’s Investment Committee, in addition to working with the financial planning team.

Ken graduated from Michigan State University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner. He is a past President and long-time Board member of what is currently the Financial Planning Association of Michigan, and has spoken to professional and lay groups on a variety of financial, investment and retirement planning topics.  For ten years he was a regular guest on Michigan State University's WKAR Radio and has been frequently interviewed and quoted in national and state publications including The Wall Street Journal, USA TODAY, Money Magazine, Detroit Free Press, The Detroit News, and the Lansing State Journal.

Additionally, Ken has served on Boards of Directors and Advisory Committees for various statewide and local voluntary and charitable organizations, and has been an instructor in The High School Financial Planning Program sponsored by the College for Financial Planning.  In 1990 he was recognized by WLNS-television in Lansing as a Hometown Hero for initiating a program of free financial counseling for individuals in crisis.
